YOUR STAY

We serve meals at well-loved pubs and at the farm. All meals at the farm are cooked favouring local and homegrown produce.

Guests stay in our traditional farmworkers cottage and in carefully selected accommodation close to Valley Girl Farm, we chose our accommodation to reflect traditional English character. Guests also have the option to exclusively rent our farmhouse, this will be a flat-rate of 5000 per stay. This will include housekeeping.

You will have the use of our swimming pool throughout your stay with the option to book extras, like massage, facials and weather permitting yoga in the meadow.

If you choose to ride, your horses will be kept in our traditional stone stables or turnout paddocks and will be looked after on full livery. There is an option for us to provide horses for experienced riders.

The farm sits in a shallow valley, just beyond the Black Mountains and book town, Hay-on-Wye. If you choose to have time to yourself or if you want to stay on and explore the area, we have wonderful options for you.

EXAMPLE OF AN ART DAY

Morning: Enjoy a delicious and healthy breakfast in your accommodation before meeting in the studio to meet with your teacher. Our retreat teacher will guide you through a relaxed and inspiring morning of creativity, approx 4 hours.

We will then break for a home-cooked lunch. This will be served in a special different location each day.

After lunch you have the the afternoon to yourself. You can choose to relax by the pool, spend time continuing your work in the studio, join us for a guided walk with beautiful views across the Black Mountains or take a trip to visit our world famous book town Hay on Wye.

In the Evening we will meet for an early relaxed supper by candlelight.

THROUGHOUT YOUR STAY:

Guests are welcome to enjoy:

• Use of the outdoor swimming pool (unheated)
• Access to the art studio during free periods
• Walking routes around surrounding countryside

There is the option to book a massage or a facial. If the weather permits we can organise yoga in the field. On your last day we will try and have a bonfire on the hill and watch the sunset. This depends on the weather!
